Background
The WFCCN has a Constitution which was first approved on 30 October 2001. The most recent revision was published in November 2007. The constitution outlines the Purpose, Philosophy and Objectives of WFCCN.
The Council of Representatives is made up of one representative from each Member Society. The Council of Representatives elect a Core Committee from their number for a two year term, every odd year. The first election was held in 2001. The Core Administration is made up of President, Secretary, Treasurer and Trade Liaison.
The WFCCN do not charge membership fees for member organisations. All funds that are used to support the activities of WFCCN are provided by donations from some member associations and Partner Federations as well as the goodwill and generosity of the time and effort provided by member representatives and colleagues passionate about critical care nursing.
